Transforming Your Research Into Teaching - Fall 2024

This short course teaches course design skills, resulting in a completed syllabus and a 1-slide overview of participants' created course. Participants will gain tools for faculty applications and practice communicating their research highlights. A Canvas site will provide resources, facilitate weekly submissions, and offer feedback.

Wed. 11/6: Crafting Effective & Engaging Lectures

Wed. 11/20: Developing a Syllabus & Course Schedule

Wed. 12/4: CALE: ‘From Postdoc to Prof'

Wed. 12/11: Culminating Course Talks

Attendance is mandatory for each session of this short course, as they build on one another.

All sessions will be held 1pm-2:30pm in the CTLO Workshop Space CSS bldg, 3rd floor, Room 360 414 S. Holliston
