CTLO: Summer Workshop Series for TAs - Creating an Inclusive Course Climate
Research shows that cultivating a more supportive and inclusive classroom climate has a positive impact on multiple learning outcomes. TAs are in unique positions to further a positive course climate through their interactions with students in office hours and rec sessions. This workshop will cover what 'course climate' entails, and why it matters for student learning. We will discuss practical strategies you can employ as a TA to make all students feel welcome and supported.
